British Trials Champion wows the crowds with a little help from Giant and Bike Beat
This weekend saw British and European Trials champion Andrei Burton wow the crowds in Liverpool as he performed the skills which have led him to be ranked at number 6 in the World aged just 23.
Saturday shoppers were stunned by Andrei’s gravity defying display on board his ‘Giant Trials Pro’ trials bike. Andrei who rides for Great Britain and is currently a Guinness World Record holder for the most 180 degree turns on a bike in 60 seconds, performed in the specially designed Giant Trials Arena which was located on Church Street, part of the Liverpool City Central Business Improvement District. His inspirational display showed youngsters and adults alike what can potentially be achieved on a bicycle with enough training and dedication.
Andrei said, “It’s great to see an audience’s reaction to something which they have not experienced before,” he continued “with enough hard work and commitment nothing is impossible on a bike.”
Giant and Bike Beat staff were on hand all day to promote the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle offered by cycling and ‘Bike Beat – Giant Stores’ which recently opened on Parliament Street, right opposite Cain’s Brewery. Giant who are the largest manufacturer of bicycles in the world, chose Liverpool to launch their first ever UK brand store at the beginning of June.
