VICTORY FOR GWR TEAM AT AW CYCLES READING ROAD RACE

GWR team riders Nic Tilling, Dan Smith, and Dave Sinclair rode the AW cycles Reading road race in Woodcote this weekend.
With 70 strong starters the race was run at a fast pace with speeds reaching 45mph on the main descent. There were numerous attacks with a group of eight riders gaining a significant lead going into the final lap. In the final kilometre Dave Sinclair opened his sprint early and quickly gained 4 bike lengths on Jon Pain, Jon Mould and Sandy King. Dave held the gap to the line to take his third victory on the road for the GWR team. Nic Tilling came in 2mins later with the remnants of the main pelaton who were sprinting for 9th place.
