Aussie Pips Columbia-High Road’s Henderson at finish line
Riding the new Giant TCR Advanced SL team bicycle, Graeme Brown of Team Rabobank claimed the opening stage of the Vuelta a Murcia. He outsprinted Greg Henderson of Columbia-High Road at the finish to take the victory. Brown’s first stage victory of the 2009 season occurred at the Tour Down Under in late January.
The five-day event pits many of the top contenders for the upcoming Giro d’Italia against each other.
