BLIND BICYCLE MECHANIC SHOWS POWER OF DETERMINATION

Recently, television and newspaper reporters have been interested in what’s happening at Bloomfield Bicycle Shop, in Bloomfield CT. On Veteran’s Day, the shop got quite a bit of media attention because of a mechanic who works there. Brian Tinsley was wounded in the war in Afghanistan in 2003, and he lost his sight. Brian was a customer of the shop before his military service; in the army, he was a vehicle mechanic. When he came home, Bloomfield Bicycle owners Michael and Rachel Wolf hired the 25-year old, who works on bicycles by touch. Check out one of the television news stories that have been produced about Brian and his work at Giant retailer Bloomfield Bicycle Shop at: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Blind-Veteran-Is-inspiration.html and click on the icon that says “WATCH VIDEO.” This is a great story that will inspire you and make you proud.
