FORREST GUMP AND DOGGIE BEACH

TARA’S DIARY – March 3, 2008 – Monday

Hey all...

K, I have to keep this short because I need to get some sleep and I just haven't got enough of it lately. I realize that I go to therapy and have been pushing myself, but I think I could be pushing myself even harder if I just got more sleep and stopped stressing about all the emails I've been getting. Don't get me wrong because I love getting them, but I need to take care of myself to the best of my ability.

So I just downloaded new pics. Some are of me getting my legs casted and ready for my Forrest Gump leg braces. Yup, they had to put casts on both of my legs from my hip to my toe. The braces will allow me to walk through the house and keep my circulation going, which is super important. I think I'll get them in about a week.

The other pics are from the LB Doggie Beach. I wanted to take Miya to the doggie beach for the first time. I was so nervous to take her off the leash, but she ended up playing nice with all the other dogs and staying within 15 feet of me at all times. She was soo cute.

The video I posted was of me last week at therapy. My left leg is kicking ass and getting stronger everyday. Same with the right leg...you just can't see it quite as much. That's okay it's coming along.

Before I head to bed I want to apologize again to everybody that has left me a message because I know I haven't returned any for at week or so. I know some of you have left me messages wanting me to get better, wishing me luck, asking me about t-shirts (check out www.tarallanesroadtorecovery.com), and donations and if I haven't got back to you I'm sorry. I'm just trying to just take care of me right now, but I promise I'll do my best to get back to you.

Okay, goodnight all!
