THE BEST 3 DAYS AT CRAIG HOSPITAL SO FAR!

 October 18, 2007

9:00 p.m
Hey all...I'm happy to say the last 3 days have been my best here as far as being able to make it to all my classes. My schedule for this week is freakin' nutso. It's just really busy. They have me starting at 9:00 a.m. and finishing at 4:00 p.m. Here is what a day in the life of me would be:

9:00 - 10:00 a.m - FIT Class / Weight Lifting

10:00 - 11:00 a.m - FES Bike Class / They hook your legs up to electrodes and your legs actually start moving the pedals.

11:00 - 12:00 p.m - OT / Occupational Therapy

12:00 - 1:00 p.m - Lunch

1:00 - 2:00 p.m - Education class

2:00 - 3:00 p.m - PT / Physical Therapy

3:00 - 4:00 p.m - Chair Class / This is where we learn wheelies while going downhill!

So basically I've been working on my tolerance in the chair, which is a lot harder than I thought would be. BUT I also know that I've been feeling a lot better and I was able to go from 3 1/2 hours to 5 hours in the past few days. Oh and they have been teaching me how to get from the chair to the mat with a slide board, but I knew I didn't need one so today I tossed it to the side and just picked myself up and moved to the mat.

Okay well I'm am starting to hurt a bit so I gotta get going. I'll try to put more pic's up over the weekend on MySpace. I tried to put some of Anne's pic's, but for some reason they wouldn't upload. We'll see what I can do.

Cheers!
