HARMONY IN MOTION

No matter if you’re a lean, mean cross-country racer, burly freeride hucker, or dedicated downhill racer, there’s a Giant Maestro Suspension bike built to suit your style. And no matter your specific application, Maestro Suspension technology continues to set the highest standard in modern bicycle suspension for riders, racers and editors around the world with its three core features:
  1. Pedaling independence. Whether you’re sprinting up a climb or coasting down sweet singletrack, Maestro Suspension continues to react independently of chain force.
  2. Complete suspension activity. From high-frequency trail vibrations to heavy-hitting compressions, Maestro Suspension is able to soak-up the full spectrum of trail impacts.
  3. Total brake independence. Whether you’re on or off the brakes, Maestro Suspension remains fully active.
All three benefits are all created through the careful placement of four key pivot points that neutralize both pedaling and braking forces, yet allow the suspension to remain fully active over all types of terrain. It’s what we call “suspension made harmonious.” Ride Maestro on your favorite trail to experience this harmony for yourself.

Maestro utilizes four strategically positioned pivot points (eight total bearings) and two linkages to create a floating pivot point that improves pedaling efficiency by counteracting forces that would otherwise create suspension compression (pedal-bob). At the same time, Maestro also features suspension sensitivity even under harsh braking so there’s no loss in braking power or traction. The more sensitive the suspension, the better the traction, the more efficiently power is transferred to the ground.

Bottom line: Maestro provides a fully active ride without any sacrifice in efficiency.
