UNITED 8 CONQUER RAAM ABOARD GIANT TCR C ZERO'S

The Giant riding United Eight team have just completed their latest mammoth challenge in The Race Across America. And if that wasn’t difficult enough in itself they had only given themselves just seven days to achieve what is undoubtedly the most gruelling bike race in the world! They didn’t quite manage to do the race in the planned seven days, which each individual team member blamed solely on the Giant bikes we had provided!

Thanks in part to the lightweight Giant TCR Composite Zero's that the team were riding, the United Eight team actually managed to cruise over the finish line in an unbelievable 6 days, 13hrs and 58 mins! This feat is made even more staggering when you take into consideration that they were the very last off the start line and had to take cover half way though when a tornado decided to join them !
